When this announcement was published on June 15, 2026, Scolavo’s three-month soft launch had just begun. Through September 15, every cinematic lesson, interactive deck, all five levels from Primary through College, standalone Topics, and the full standardized Test Prep were included with a free account. The promotion has ended; current plans are listed above.
Why we opened the library for the launch
We soft-launched on purpose. We wanted real learners to use Scolavo every day — find the rough edges, tell us what was confusing, and show us which lessons landed and which needed another pass. A free window was the fastest, fairest way to do that. Learners got the full library during that period; their feedback helped us improve it.
The offer reflected a belief that a great lesson should be easy to reach for. During the launch, there was no paywall between a curious person and the subject they wanted to explore.
What the launch included
- During the promotion: every lesson, every subject, and every level — Primary, Middle, High School, College, and Topics.
- During the promotion: both ways to learn, the cinematic “Watch” film and the interactive “Learn” deck, with quick-checks and mastery quizzes.
- During the promotion: the full Test Prep suite — Digital SAT, ACT, PSAT, and CAASPP — with score reports.
- With an account, progress, streaks, and mastery tracking saved across devices.
Why the launch used accounts
At the time, the free account saved progress and mastery across devices and helped keep the experience for real learners rather than bots and scrapers. The Curious account remains free today, with the included access described in the update above.
What happened after the three months
At publication, we expected to introduce paid plans after the launch window and said there would always be a free tier. The launch window has ended; current plan details are in the October 2026 update above.
